Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you get started with Girard in just a few minutes. By the end, you'll have generated your first AI content.

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Navigate to girardai.com
2. Click Sign Up in the navigation bar
3. Create your account using:
   • Email and password
   • Google account
   • GitHub account
4. Verify your email address if required

Step 2: Complete Onboarding

After signing up, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding process:

1. Create or Join an Organization

   • Create a new organization for your team
   • Or join an existing organization via invite link

2. Choose Your Plan

   • Start with the free tier to explore
   • Upgrade anytime for more credits and features

3. Set Up Your Profile

   • Add your name and preferences
   • Configure notification settings

Step 3: Generate Your First Image

Let's create your first AI-generated image:

1. Navigate to Studio

   • Click Studio in the sidebar
   • You'll see the generation interface

2. Write a Prompt

   A majestic mountain landscape at sunset,
   with a crystal-clear lake reflecting the
   orange and purple sky, photorealistic style
   

3. Choose Settings

   • Model: Flux Pro 1.1 (recommended for quality)
   • Aspect Ratio: 16:9 (landscape)
   • Quality: High

4. Generate

   • Click the Generate button
   • Wait for your image to be created (usually 10-30 seconds)

5. View & Download

   • Your image appears in the workspace
   • Click to view full size
   • Download or share as needed

Tip: Use the Enhance Prompt feature to automatically improve your prompt for better results.

Step 4: Start a Chat Conversation

Try the AI chat feature:

1. Navigate to Chat

   • Click Chat in the sidebar

2. Start a New Conversation

   • Click New Chat
   • Type your message in the input field

3. Example Conversation

   You: Can you help me write a product description
   for an eco-friendly water bottle?
   
   AI: I'd be happy to help! Here's a compelling
   product description for your eco-friendly water bottle...
   

4. Enable MCP Tools (Optional)

   • Expand the MCP Tools panel in the sidebar
   • Enable servers like Web Search for enhanced capabilities

Step 5: Create Your First Agent

Build a custom AI assistant:

1. Navigate to Agents

   • Click Agents in the sidebar

2. Create New Agent

   • Click New Agent
   • Fill in the details:
     • Name: "Marketing Assistant"
     • Description: "Helps with marketing tasks"
     • System Prompt:

       You are a helpful marketing assistant. You specialize
       in creating compelling copy, analyzing market trends,
       and suggesting marketing strategies. Be creative,
       professional, and data-driven in your responses.
       

3. Configure Settings

   • Model: Gemini 2.0 Flash
   • Temperature: 0.7 (balanced creativity)
   • MCP Servers: Enable relevant tools

4. Save and Test

   • Click Save Agent
   • Start chatting with your new agent

Step 6: Explore More Features

Now that you're set up, explore other capabilities:

Voice

• Convert text to speech with natural voices
• Transcribe audio files to text

MCP Servers

• Browse the marketplace for integrations
• Connect databases, file systems, and APIs

Workflows

• Create automated AI pipelines
• Execute via API or webhooks

Girard uses a credit system:
